Slave to the Grind

Create a new topic in the Front Page News forum. Before you submit it, find the options tab below your post and where it says "Change topic type to:" select the 'Announce' radio button. This will make it show up on the front portal page. If you don't select this, it will just show up as a topic in the Front Page News forum.

Post as normal using any bbcode you would like. If you use the "img-upload" button (right by the preview and submit buttons) it will open a new window where you can choose an image file to upload. Once it is uploaded, it will show you will get a success message and if you would like to include the image in your post, you can copy the IMG link (3rd option) and then paste it where you want the image to go in your post.

I should add, only officers can post new topics to this forum but guild members should be able to reply to any topic. If that is not working let me know.

Additionally, if you forget to attach an image, you can always edit your post, find the "Your uploaded images" tab below the post body, and then click the image you want to show up in the post. It will automatically add the tags for you and everything.
